With its light and refreshing character, it is the ideal match for your grilled food in summer. Served chilled, but not iced, it goes weill with charcuteries, pies, pizzas or our famous Alsatian flammenkueches.

This wine, rich in aromas, with exceptional power and finish, comes from grapes full of sugar, harvested when over-ripe, 4 to 6 weeks after the vendanges (grape harvest), sometimes under the first snowfall.
Remarkably fresh and light-bodied, with a subtle fruitiness, it is pleasant and thirst-quenching and shows a nice vivacity.
The plot from which this wine is made is located on the ruins of the Meywhir castle (10th century), hence the name of this specific area: “Im Schloss”.
Mellow and delicate, it combines freshness with suppleness to represent a happy medium in the range of Alsace wines.
