The plot from which this wine is made is located in the Sonnenberg area in the town of Ammerschwihr. This geographical sector is particularly well exposed to the sun.

The plot from which this wine is made is located on the ruins of the Meywhir castle (10th century), hence the name of this specific area: “Im Schloss”.

Harvested in the late season, this wine has a clear yellow colour and reveals notes of citrus fruits, particularly lemon.
