Pinot Gris – Sonnenberg
The plot from which this wine is made is located in the Sonnenberg area in the town of Ammerschwihr. This geographical sector is particularly well exposed to the sun.
This wine comes from grapes full of sugar, harvested when over-ripe, 4 to 6 weeks after the vendanges (grape harvest), sometimes under the first snowfall.
Rich in aromas, with exceptional power and finish.
To be enjoyed at the end of a meal. Also goes wonderfully with foie gras.

The famous hillsides of the Kaefferkopf give this wine its fresh, fruity character, with a very delicate bouquet and subtle acidity.
